Science and art of veterinary medicine to be highlighted at VMX 2025

Celebrating the art and science of veterinary medicine is the central theme for the upcoming Veterinary Meeting & Expo (VMX) early next year.

Presented by North American Veterinary Community (NAVC), the 42nd annual VMX, titled Festival of the HeARTS, will offer close to 1,000 hours of continuing education (CE) sessions, as well as the VMX Expo Hall, featuring industry exhibitors. The conference is happening on Jan. 25-29, 2025, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

“Animals today are living longer, better quality lives, and veterinary professionals from all over the world come to VMX each year to learn what’s new and to perfect their skills and knowledge so they can keep our pets and all animals healthy and happy,” says NAVC CEO Gene O’Neill, adding the conference will serve as the “launchpad for the latest innovations in veterinary medicine.”

Festival of the HeARTS aims to showcase all types of art forms–many with a surprising “animal twist”–alongside state-of-the-art advances in veterinary medicine.

“We know that it takes so much more than years of schooling to do what veterinary professionals do every single day,” says O’Neill. “VMX 2025’s Festival of the HeARTS celebrates the emotion and the art behind the science, taking VMX and veterinary care to yet another level of excellence.”

VMX 2025 is offering continuing education in a variety of formats, including classroom lectures, hands-on workshops, masterclasses, and art and crafts project. A sample of sessions below:
