A “pocket-sized” Chihuahua named Pearl has achieved the Guinness World Record for world’s shortest living dog.

Measuring just 9.14 cm (3.59 in.) in height, the two-year-old pooch is shorter than a popsicle stick, Guinness reports. She is 12.7 cm (5.0 in.) in length—approximately the same size as a dollar bill—and weighs in at 553 g (1.22 lbs).

Pearl’s aunt, Miracle Milly, held the title of shortest living dog before her death in 2020. Pearl is the daughter of Milly’s identical sister.

“We’re blessed to have her,” says Pearl’s owner, Vanesa Semler. “And to have this unique opportunity to break our own record and share with the world this amazing news.”

The new record-holder was unveiled to the world in Milan, Italy, during a recent appearance on the Guinness TV talent show, Lo Show Dei Record.

A fan of dressing up and eating high-quality food (like chicken and salmon), Pearl has been described by her owner as “a bit of a diva.”

“We have lots of fun together,” Vanesa adds.
